Overview
The Introduction to Web Development course is a great way to try out coding and see if it’s for you. But the course is more than that; it also serves as the foundation for a Software Guild education. By taking the Introduction to Web Development course, you’re learning skills that prepare you to become a Software Guild apprentice. That’s why we require all prospective apprentices in beginner-level bootcamps to complete the course.
Course Details
The workplace is becoming increasingly dependent on computer software, mobile apps and online storefronts. To meet this ever-increasing demand, American businesses need skilled developers. Learning a programming language keeps your skills relevant in the modern workforce and can help you move into a better position or make you invaluable to your current employer.
Our online Introduction to Web Development course is a great way to try out programming to see if it’s for you. At The Software Guild, we require all of our prospective apprentices in beginner-level programs (including Java and .NET/C#) to complete this course. The work completed in this course gets all of our apprentices to the same starting point, and projects from the course are reviewed in the first week of the bootcamp.
You’ll learn real-world coding skills in this course designed by Software Guild instructors and, when you’re done, you’ll be ready to become an apprentice.
