A lifelong learner. David started learning code by teaching himself BASIC his first year in college. He started his teaching career in 1989 teaching English in Taiwan, then learning dBase and working in Pascal for a research study. In the banking industry he wrote several applications in Visual Basic and C++. While working he taught others and himself additional programming languages and frameworks, working recently in C# and ASP.NET.
David graduated with a bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of Arizona, a Master’s in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, and a teaching license from the University of Evansville.
David was a Sergeant in US Marine Corps, a persistent coder with a passion for teaching and learning and lives by the words “improvise, adapt, overcome” and “learn something new every day”.
